Dansk Vindenergi built its first wind turbines in Denmark back in 1996, when we built what was, at the time, one of the country's largest wind farms.
Since then, Dansk Vindenergi has been both a producer of energy and a project developer of wind turbine projects. The company has grown through both the construction of new wind turbines and the acquisition of existing wind turbines.
We currently operate 64 wind turbines in Denmark and produce the annual electricity consumption of approx. 25,000 Danish households.
We have developed a number of wind turbine projects, and are one of the experienced wind turbine developers in Denmark.
The company was founded by, and is still owned by, the brothers Ove and Niels Mejlholm.
Investment in renewables
Dansk Vindenergi ApS is continuously working on the development of a number of new wind turbine projects in Denmark. The turbine projects include modern wind turbines in the size of 3.6 MW to 7.2 MW.
We also purchase wind turbines for further operation, and currently have a portfolio of 64 wind turbines between 150 kW and 3075 kW in operation in Denmark. Our wind turbines have a total output of approx. 45 MW and have an annual production that corresponds to the electricity consumption in approx. 25000 Danish homes.
We perform service on our wind turbines ourselves, and have a team of skilled service fitters for this. Dansk Vindenergi ApS is ISO 9001:2015 certified, as part of maintaining a high level of quality.
